William C. ( Doc ) Pritchett, 74, of Carnesville died Sunday, Oct 25, at Cobb Memorial Hospital. Born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late William Thomas and Mary Evie Thomason Pritchett and was married to the late Annie Ruth Holcomb Pritchett. He was a retired self-employed mechanic and was a member of Nails Creek Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Pitts and Mrs. Linda Barnes, both of Carnesville, four sisters, mrs Reba Pritchett and Mrs. Viola Ward, both of Toccoa, Mrs. Morene Osborne of Greenville and Mrs. Amanda Wilson of Baldwin, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral was at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Willie Thomas and the Rev. Herman Purcell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Ginn Funeral Home in Chatge of arrangements.
