Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away December 21, 2012 after a valiant fight with breast cancer. He was born May 8, 1929 to Charles Jenner and Irene Hatch in Prescott AZ.

He was a master teacher and example to all. Thousands came to see his demonstration gardens and get advice on keeping plants thriving. He had a wonderful human touch that warmed all he came in contact with.

His faith in his Savior Jesus Christ was immoveable and showed in all he did. He twice served as Bishop, and he and his wife served three missions together in Spain, Mongolia and Eugene, Oregon.

He married Rose Marie Schank on July 28, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was an expert marksman and won the Utah State championship in 1950. He served in the Air Force as an intelligence officer.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie, children Joel (Christine), Clinton UT; Teresa (Paul) Robertson, Olympia WA; Deanna (Kelly) Johnson, Farmington UT, 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, Brent, Walter and Eugene Charles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Clinton UT Stake Center, 1288 W 1300 N, Clinton UT. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West and from 11:45 to 12:45 at the Stake Center prior to services. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
