Survived by his life partner, Brigid Campbell of Oelwein; a son, Donald Adams of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Judy Bear of Oelwein; two brothers, Bill Adams of DeKalb, Ill., and Harvey Adams of Pryor, Okla.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his wife, Beverly; a brother, Walter; two sisters, Hazel and Daisy; and a son, Terry Adams.
Services at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 at Geilenfeld Funeral Chapel in Oelwein with Rev. Charis Combs-Lay officiating. There will also be a 1 p.m. service at the Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb on Saturday. There will be a time to socialize immediately following the service at Geilenfeld Funeral Home on Friday.
