Sister Joseph Ursula Barker, 89, of Mount St. Joseph, Maple Mount, died there Monday, Sept. 16, 1991. She was born in Waverly and was an Ursuline nun. She entered the Mount St. Joseph Ursuline community March 19, 1928 and taught or ministered in Curdsville, St. Raphael parish, Louisville, Earlington, Hardinsburg, Mayfield, Owensboro, Lyndon and Jeffersontown in Kentucky and in Affton, Mo. She returned to the Mount St. Joseph motherhouse in 1973. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Services are at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, St. Joseph. Burial in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, Maple Mount. Visitation after 4 p.m. today at Mount St. Joseph, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. today. Glenn Funeral Home, Owensboro, is in charge of arrangements.
