Albert Eugene Barker married Caroline Pauline Cruz, daughter of John Bernard Cruz and Mary Araminta Wathen, on 18 Jan 1898, at St. Vincent, Union Co, KY. They had four children: Matilda Irene, Mary Araminta, Ursula Martina and Albert Francis Barker. The youngest was born Sep 1905. Unfortunately, Albert Eugene died in March of 1906.
When Carrie was widowed in 1906, John Bernard Cruz and Francis ‘Frank" Wathen Cruz took in the family until they grew up or married. Ursula Martina entered Mount St. Joseph Ursuline Convent.
Carrie lived to the age of 84 years.
