NAMPA — Services Mrs. Iva Cora Hudgins, 88, of 1615 1st St. S., Nampa, who died in a Nampa nursing home on Wednesday, following an extended illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Leo W. Reed, pastor of the Nampa First Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hudgins was born Jan. 6, 1888, at Weed, N.M., where she was reared and attended school. She married Jesse M. Hudgins on Jan. 3, 1906, at Weed. They moved to the High Line Community east of Nampa in 1919. In 1945 they moved to 1615 1st St. S., where they made their home. Mr. Hudgins preceded her in death in March of 1966. She was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Harold, Portland, Herbert of Atwater, Calif., Horace of St. Maries, and Harley Hudgins, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Helen) Morrow, Nampa, and Mrs. Hazel Parks, Nampa; 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Holly) Lane.
