Virginia Hope Sell, 78, died Dec. 17, 2012, in Pratt County. Born Sept. 1, 1934 at Richfield, Kan., she was the daughter of Arcy and Myrtle Heggy Krey. She was the owner of Ginny's Beauty Shop. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Stafford and volunteered for several organizations in Stafford.
On May 23, 1956, she married Darwin Sell at Stafford County, Kan. He died June 30, 2005. She is survived by her children, Tammy Dick and husband Patrick of Stafford, Karen Smithson and husband Ken of Halstead, Jay Sell and wife Benji of Stafford, David Sell and wife Starla of McPherson; brothers, Wesley Krey of Canyon City, Texas, and Donald Krey of Sharon Springs; sisters, Patricia Crosswhite of Ness City and Phyllis Tull of Waco, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey, Harold and an infant brother, Edwin.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with David Campbell presiding. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church in care of the chapel.
