Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois), Wednesday, December 30, 1953:
   Vincent Adamick, of Lenox, Mo., a farmer, died Tuesday at the Salem hospital. He was a former resident of this city until ten years ago.
   He was born Jan. 22, 1901, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Adamick.
   He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Sophie Escher; two sons, Robert and Lester of Lenox, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Mae Rhea of Lenox, Mo.; two brothers, John Adamick of this city, Albert Adamick of Collinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Gregor and Mrs. Ellsworth Menk of this city and five grandsons. One son, Wilbert was killed in Korea July 9, 1953.
   Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Salem Catholic church. The body will be shipped to the Kassly funeral home 515 Vandalia street Collinsville and may be viewed after 7 p.m. Thursday. Final rites will be held Saturday from the funeral home.
   Interment will be in Calvary cemetery in this city.
