Mr. Adamick was born June 7, 1922 in Lenox to Vincent and Sophia (Escher) Adamick. He married Fredia Carmack September 29, 1967. Mr. Adamick died December 25, 2008 in Rolla at the age of 86 years.
Survivors include his wife, Fredia Adamick; two sons, Stanley Adamick, Rolla; and Jim Adamick, Lake Spring; one brother, Lester Adamick, Salem; one sister, Mary Nothaus, Salem; two granddaughters, Jessica Wilber and husband, Josh, Salem; and Kendra Adamick, Terre Haute, Ind.; one great-granddaughter, Kylie Wilber; four brothers-in-law, Jesse Fore and wife, Sophia, Lecoma; Alfred Carmack and wife, Beauton, Rolla; Abe Carmack, Lecoma; and Abner Carmack, Rolla; several nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Woody Adamick.
Mr. Adamick served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
