She was born to Sally Ann Robbins Huff and William Oliver Huff February 24, 1920, in Stamford, Texas and married George B. Anglin July 3, 1935 in Stamford, Texas. He preceded her in death December 7, 1992.
Opal was raised in Stamford where her family raised cotton. She and her husband lived in several places including in Big Spring for 10 years, before moving to Odessa. She had worked for Walgreen's and in 1963 became an insurance agent for AFLAC.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Opal Robertson and her husband, W. R. of Odessa and Rose Ann Bokelman and husband, William H. of Big Spring; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Oliver Huff and Sally Ann Robbins Huff; and seven brothers and sisters.
The family suggests memorials be made to Susan B. Komen for the Cure, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
