Annie Myrtle Wetsel

EASTLAND — Annie Myrtle Wetsel, 91, passed away in Abilene on July 11, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Saturday, July 15, 2006 in the Summers-Bakker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastland Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Open visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Annie was born March 7, 1915 in Stamford, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. William Haff. She worked for many years in the soil conservation office in Eastland doing clerical work until her retirement. She later married Arlee Wetsel in June of 1975. She was a member of the Daugherty Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings, and both her sons, Buddy Aaron and Edwin Aaron. She is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Arlee Wetsel of Abilene and numerous friends and relatives. Special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Melba Aaron of Eastland, for her support.
