SYRACUSE — Vivian Elaine Huser, 94, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at her home in Chandler, Ariz.
She was born April 10, 1918, in Phillipsburg, to Harold Leigh Baum and Vera Gertrude Strain Baum. She graduated from Coolidge High School in 1935.

On May 16, 1936, she married George Huser in Syracuse. They made their home on a farm north of Coolidge, began an irrigated farm and ranch in 1965 in Ault, Colo., and after their retirement in 1976, they moved to Greeley, Colo. She moved to Mesa, Ariz., in 2000.

Her husband died in 1981. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Russell Baum; and a sister, Geraldine Rhoads.

Survivors include five sons, Melvin Huser of Chandler, Arlan and Robert Huser, both of Syracuse, Ronald Huser of Littleton, Colo., and Eugene Huser of Houston; two brothers, Barnard Baum of Casper, Wyo., and Ronald Baum of Yuma, Ariz.; two sisters, Myrna Schnoor of Mesa, Ariz., and Norma Jean Mill of Ft. Collins, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. MST Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Syracuse. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
