The daughter of Harry and Mary Brown, she was born on Feb. 22, 1890 at Hoisington, Kan. She was married to Corbett R. Ralstin on Oct. 16, 1910 at Mullinville, Kan. They established their farm home 15 miles north of Guymon in 1917 where they made their home until their retirement in 1958 when they moved into Guymon. Mr. Ralstin passed away in 1961. She resided at Dunaway Manor since 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett; two sons, Donald and Elmer, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Ralstin is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lester (Mary) Delano, Wichita, Mrs. Merle (Clara) Wooden, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Gerd (Ester) Kleffman, Guymon and Mrs. Dean (Edith) Schriber, Borger, Tex., and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bettie Ralstin; three sons Hiram Ralstin, Herman Ralstin and Ray Ralstin all of Guymon, twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Frances Norris, Kansas City, Mo., and one half sister Mrs. Carl Manos, Carlsbad, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted from Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon, Thursday, May 31 at 11 a.m. Rev. Grady McCullough, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot at Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of the Henson Funeral Home of Guymon. Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime Wednesday.
An Evy Ralstin Memorial has been established for the No Man's Land Senior Citizens Building Fund. Memorials will be accepted at the Henson Funeral Home.
