Nesbit, Mississippi - CHARLES ERNEST MCCONNELL, 78, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Desoto. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 2 at Forest Hill South Cemetery with visitation from 1 to 2 prior to the service. Mr. McConnell leaves his wife, Ernestine McConnell, a daughter, Cindy Rushing, and a son, Mike Skow; two sisters, June Rodgers and Katie Willis, also two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
