Darrell D. Arnold, 64, of 430 N. Weller, Ottumwa died November 30, 2012 at his home.

He was born August 14, 1948 in Ottumwa to Floyd and Martha Moore Arnold. He married Leona M. Lankford on August 5, 1944. A graduate of Moravia High School and Indian Hills Community College, Darrell had worked for Lund International and Office Max. He delivered Meals on Wheels through the Salvation Army.

Surviving is his wife, Leona; a step-daughter, Lisa(Jeff)Reynolds of West Pueblo, CO; two step-sons, William(Jacque)Lankford of Sun City, CA and Terry Lankford of Licking, MO; 9 step-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret(Max)Bailey of Ottumwa; two nephews, Steven Bailey and Aaron(Wendy)Bailey both of Ottumwa; a niece, Stacey(Chad)Ingle of Ottumwa; four great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 3 pm Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Captain Oliver Knuth officiating. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or the Salvation Army.
