Mary R. Forgey, 75, 803 N. James, died Sunday morning in Texas County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 23, 1904 to James and Ida Bell Crooks at Cumberland, Ohio.

She was born July 23, 1904 to James and Ida Bell Crooks at Cumberland, Ohio. She was married to Forrest Forgey on December 25, 1925 at Fort Supply, Okla. The Forgey family moved to Guymon to make their home in 1957 from Laverne, Okla. when her husband became associated with the Texas County Motor Co.

She was a member of the First Chistian Church of Guymon and the Guymon Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Besides her husband of the home, she is survived by four sons, Gerald Forgey and Robert Forgey of Wichita, Kan., Roy Forgey, San Diego, Calif. and Dean Forgey, Edmond, Wash.; one brother, Cecil C. Crooks, May, Okla.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted from the First Christian Church of Guymon, Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jere Wells, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst cemetery under the direction of the Henson Funeral Home of Guymon. Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime.

A Mary Forgey Memorial has been established for the Guymon Masonic Charity Foundation Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home or at the Masonic Lodge.
