Roy was born in Cour d' Alene, Idaho on Dec. 16, 1937, to Ralph Alan and Mary Faulkner Ireton. He died Nov. 22, 2012, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary Ireton; his first wife, Carol Jean Ireton of Cortez; and a sister, Opal Gallagher of Douglas, Wyo.
Roy worked in the oil and gas industry for 37 years throughout the United States and in later years for ARAMARK Mesa Verde Company at Mesa Verde National Park. He enjoyed rock hunting, woodworking, country music and attending church services with Barbara Fairchild Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Branson; son, Roy Alan of Colorado; daughter, Colleen Bush of Gillette, Wyo.; brothers, Cecil and Donald Ireton; sisters, Alice Reed, Faye Manning and Doris Menter, all of Douglas; granddaughter, Sarah Ireton of California; stepchildren, Dawn Lopez and Michael Miller of California; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy will be buried alongside his first wife of 47 years, Carol, in the family plot in Douglas, Wyo.
