Issac McCarty and Ann D'evecmon's daughter.Elizabeth Ann married Nicholas Baker, Nov. 15,1843, in Alleghany Co Maryland. Some years later they moved to Iowa and lived there for a number of years. Nicholas started across the plains and never returned. He was supposedly killed by the Indians. Elizabeth died in Fairfield at the age of 62.
