Wife of Issac McCarty. Ann's father Pierre DuVaucel D'Evecquemont was a member of the Royal Family of France(reported to be a first cousin to Louis-Philippe Du'Vaucel XVI) Peter was a duke with a large income. until the Revolution of 1795 when he lost his title and his income. He came to the Stated before the French Revolution,and escaped being put to death with the other members fo his family. His sister was one of those put to death. Peter married a Swedish woman, Hannah Sinix, 22 Sept. 1786, in Wilmington, DE.
Issac and Ann had five children,Eliabeth Ann, Ingaba, Mary Ellen, Hannah, Peter ,(Rev) Edward, William,Rebecca, David, Eliza Jane,and Volenda.
