SAUK RAPIDS - Mrs. Olive Flint Gates, 90, formerly of Rice, Minn., died Thursday at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 10, 1878, in Langola Township, Benton County. She married Alfred Gates in Rice, on Oct. 14, 1903.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and of the Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Gates is survived by her children. Mrs. Ervin (Winnifred) Russell, Sun City, Calif.; Alfred, Miles City, Mont.; Francis, Rice; Mrs. Dorothy Feddema, Middleton, Wis.; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1947; a son, William in 1944; four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, with burial in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at the church from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
