Mrs. Rachel H. (Angstadt) Fenstermacher, 92, died this morning in the home of a daughter, Mabel, wife of George Kutz, 216 S. Haas St., Topton, with whom she resided.
Born in Rockland Township, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Hassler) Angstadt, she was the widow of John W. Fenstermacher, who died nine years ago.
She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church and was a life member of its Lutheran Church Women. She was also a charter member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Lyons Fire Co.
She was also affiliated with the Ladies' Auxiliary to Berks County Firemen, Manatawny, Temple, Ladies of the Golden Eagle, and East Penn Valley Democratic Club. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Bertha Oswald, Fleetwood R.D. 1; Mrs. Vera Gambler, Fleetwood R.D. 1, and Florence, wife of Oliver Stoudt, Topton; a foster son, Luther A. Weidner, Lyons; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-great-grandchildren; two foster grandchildren and one foster great-grandchild.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in New Jerusalem Church, the Rev. Charles T. Herman officiating. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery. The Schofer Funeral Home [Topton] is in charge of arrangements.
