ADOLPHUS BROWN
(Special to the Herald)
Gaffney, Feb 16.--Adolphus Baxter Brown, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Brown of the Ravenna section of Cherokee County, died at 1:30 o'clock Monday morning in the city hospital here. He had been ill for several weeks, having undergone an operation to remove an abcess of the liver about a month ago.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Corinth Baptist church by the Rev. D. L. Hoke, assisted by E. J. Clary.
Mrs. Brown is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Horace Brown of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas; Paul, Earl, Leon, Ray, and Doyle Brown, Mrs. C. C. Jolly, and Misses Alice Mae and Erline Brown.
