She was born April 10, 1873 in McNairy County, TN; the daughter of John Henry Lee and Margarette "Priscilla" Buchanan Lee.
She is being laid to rest beside her husband, Joe Melton, in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chester County, TN. Mr. Melton preceded her in death on October 28, 1942. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Estell Melton on December 17, 1928.
