Born Jan. 18, 1924 in Port Royal, she was the daughter of the late Ross W. and Emma (Bowers) Ranck. Her husband, Harry J. Dreese, died April 3, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald W. Dreese, Sr. and wife, Glenda, of McAlisterville and Daniel W. Dreese and wife, Connie, of Oakland Mills; one daughter, Patricia F. Richardson and husband, Rodney, of East Waterford; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step-great-granddaughter, and three step-great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Lucian Ranck, Warren Ranck, Sr., Anna Ranck, Thelma (Ranck) Renninger, and Esther (Ranck) Long.
Queenie graduated from Port Royal High School in 1943 and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Mexico United Methodist Church. Early in her life, she was an assistant leader for the Port Royal Cub Scouts.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Mexico United Methodist Church, PO Box 133, Mexico, PA 17056 or to Hospice: The Bridge, 305 4th St. Pleasant Acres, Lewistown, PA 17044.
