Carl Schooler, long time business man of
Frankfort, Kansas passed away on Sunday
evening, February 11, 1968 at the Mary
Marshall Manor in Marysville, Kansas at
the age of 92 years.
Carl was born in Iowa on April 10, 1875.
He was united in marriage to Florence
Palmer in 1898.
Mr. Schooler moved to Frankfort in 1938
from Abilene, Kansas where he has spent
many years along with his son Vern,
building the Frankfort community into
one of the finest community sales in the
area.
Mr. Schooler’s health began to fail four
years ago and on December 18, 1965 he
became a resident of Mary Marshall
Manor.
He was preceded in death by his wife on
May 14, 1941.
He is survived by his sons, Vern Schooler,
Frankfort, Kansas and Ervin Schooler of
Stockton, California; seven grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday,
February 14, 1968 at 9:30 a.m. at the
Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort with
Reverend George Seuferling officiating.
Interment was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
