Following the close of W.W.II, on Nov. 22, 1945 Marie m. William Kenison "Ken" Harrington, eldest s. of Clarence Dunn Harrington and Mabel E. Kenison, b. Nov. 11, 1917 at Cranston, RI. He was the older brother of Marie's former nursing school roommate. During the war Ken had served in England with the U.S. Army Air Corps and subsequently was a career serviceman in the U.S. Air Force stationed at various locations in the U.S. and England. Marie and Ken had five children, all daus., four of whom are living, b. at the various AFBs at which Ken was stationed.
Marie died of heart failure Feb. 26, 1965 at Goldsboro, Wayne County, NC and is interred at Evergreen Cemetery west of Goldsboro. At the time of her death, she was a nurse with the Wayne County Dept. of Health.
