"Army" Armstrong, Jr. and his wife, of Wood River; 4 grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles F. Armstrong of Wood River; and 1 sister, Doris Yost, also of Wood River.
Visitation was held at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, Illinois on 24 May 1968. Funeral services were conducted there at 2 p.m. the following afternoon and were officiated by the pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights, Illinois.
Army's wife, Pauline, later remarried. She died in 2001 and was buried next to him.
