Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Shirley Clark and Phyllis Szyprka, both of Phoenix, Arizona, and Penny Shannon, Stone Mountain, Georgia; three brothers, Jack Dotson and Lee Earl Dotson, both of Wapello, and Glen Dotson, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Mary Jane Scheihing, Wapello; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
