Rev. William H. Lathrop of 609 West Ninth, died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday in Washington, D. C. he had been a resident of Houston for 26 years and was a retired minister of the Free Methodist churches.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Lathrop of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. A.L. Hemphill of Washington; three sons, Frank, Mike R. and Jack Lathorp, all of Houston; two borthers, Sam R. Lathrop of Dallas and Joe D. Lathrop of Houston, four grandchildren.

The body arrives in Houston at 12:40 p.m. Sunday over the Missouri Pacific Lines. Funeral services at 5 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the Fogle-West company, with Rev. L.L. O'Neal officiating. Burial in the Hollywood cemetery under the direction of the Fogle-West company.

Active pallbearers will be J. D. Doyle, H. L. Freeman, Earl Hagg, George T. Moore, W.A. Williford, W. L. Butcher. Honorary pallbearers: Rev. J. C. Clemons of Sacul, Rev. E. M. Stephens of Nacogdoches, Rev. S. H. Tinsley of Hemphill, Rev. A.B. Harrell of Rockwall, Rev. F. W. Amsden of Dallas, Rev. J. W. Simmons of San Antonio, Rev. L. F. Preston, D. H. Hadley, H. J.
