Wade Hampton Cox was a native of Centerville, Indiana, he had farmed for 40 years and also was employed at Natco for 28 years, retiring in January of this year. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Marie; two daughters, Ann Cox and Nancy Keasling, and one son, Ben Cox, all of Cambridge City, Indiana,; five grandchildren; his mother, Mae Cox of Bentonville; five brothers, Robert Cox of Fort Worth, TX, Keith Cox of Cambridge City, Ralph Cox of Centerville, Don Cox of Milton, and Ward Cox of West Richfield, Ohio; and three sisters, Betty Darrah of Bentonville, Alma McClurg of Jeffersonville, KY, and Helen Smith of Connersville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fisher-Waskom Mortuary in Cambridge City, where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and before the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Raleigh Cemetery at Raleigh.
He married Mildred Marie Lucas 29 December, 1943 in Carrabelle, Florida.
