Charlette M. Overbay died Sunday following extended illness

Charlotte M. Overbay, 58, of Manson, died Sunday morning at Lake Chelan Community Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Overbay was born December 26, 1915, at Cornlea, Nebraska, and was married to Dewey T. Novotny in 1934 at Nebraska. They moved to Renton in 1941 and Mr. Novotny preceded her in death in 1951. She was married to Ralph Overbay in June 1952 and they have since made their home at Manson.
Mrs. Overbay was a member of the Manson United Methodist Church; Silver Star Chapter, O.E.S.; and the Lake Chelan Golf and Country Club.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; two daughters: Carol, of Seattle; and Connie of North Bend; one step-son, James, of Bellevue; and one step-daughter, Roxie, of Tigard, Oregon; two brothers: Henry Melcher, of Kent; and Gilbert Melcher, of Humphrey, Nebraska.; two sister: Lillian Dalhiem, of Kent; and Tillie Korth, of Yucaipa, California; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Manson United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Graves officiating. Concluding services and interment will be Friday at 10 a.m. from Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Services are under direction of Precht Rose Chapel.
