Ethel May Lamborn, 70, daughter of Arthur Coleman and Alice May Price DeWitt, was born April 25, 1924, at Hartshorn. She died Oct. 20, 1994, at Texas County Memorial Hospital at Houston. She had cancer.

The Lamborns had lived at Eunice for the last three years, moving here from Bunker. They had lived at Tulia, Texas, from 1959 to 1980.

Mrs. Lamborn was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Ellen Brooks; nine brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel George Lamborn of the home at Eunice; five sons, Ron Matthews of Lewisville, Texas, Dennis Matthews of Wichita, Kan., Larry Lamborn of Lubbock, Texas, Dasin "George" Lamborn of Claude, Texas, and Robert Lamborn of Tulia, Texas; one daughter, Carol A. Roe of Fritch, Texas; one brother, Ray DeWitt of Mountain View; one sister, Ruth Lee of Eunice; 16 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Services were Oct. 24 at the Eunice Baptist Church with the Rev. Albert Steelman officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery at Hartshorn under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Summersville.
