She was the daughter of William & Martha "Patsy" Holman Beaman. She first married Allen A Herrell 21 Sep 1848 Pettis County, MO. They had 6 children together. Allen died sometime between 1865 and 1869. He was not in the 1870 census. On 3 Apr 1873, she married widower, Joshua North, and they had no children. Joshua was born 26 Aug 1825 MD and died 26 Oct 1907 in Stuttgart, AR at the home of one of his daughters. His obit didn't tell who his parents were. Their 6 children, in order, were Cinderella, Wm. Middleton, Sarah, John F., Mary Allen, & Benjamin. Sarah was born in 1854 & died before 1870 census. Benjamin was born Jan. 1860 & died before 1870 census.
