DR. W. W. BARNES DIES OF BLOOD POISONING
BEGAN THE PRACTICE OF DENTISTRY IN LOUISVILLE IN 1876.
Blood poisoning, following the extraction of a tooth about five weeks ago, resulted in the death of Dr. W. W. Barnes, one of the best-known dentists of Louisville, at his home, 525 West Oak Street, last midnight. He was 64 years old, and began practicing dentistry in Louisville in 1876. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Williams, of Kittrell, N.C. and two brothers, Dr. E. D. Barnes, of Wilmington, N.C. and W. S. Barnes, of Raleigh.
…The burial which will be private, will be in Cave Hill cemetery.
