Mr. Hensley retired from TRW Ross Gear, now Parker Hannifin, where he was a stores clerk.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Hensley was the widower of Barbara Geraldine Hensley.
Survivors include his two sons: Andy Clyde Hensley of Germany and Jonathan M. Hensley of Greeneville; his daughter: Julie A. Hensley of Jefferson City; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Uyless and Lois Hensley and Wayland and Wilma "Billie" Hensley, all of Greeneville; a sister-in-law: Vernice Hensley, and a brother-in-law: Fred Humphreys, both of Greeneville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
He was a son of the late Harmon Clark and Stella Sawyers Hensley and was preceded in death by two brothers: Clifford Hensley and Arland Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Kiser Funeral Home.
Family and friends will meet at 1:50 Saturday afternoon in River Hill Cemetery for a graveside service at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Jimmy Bowers will officiate.
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Andrew Johnson Post #1990, will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be his nephews: David Lynn Hensley, Larry Hensley, Jeffery Hensley, Phil Hensley, Phil Hensley, and Jackie Hensley.
