Mary Kathryn Fix Atkinson, a Juliaetta area native, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at her home in Redding, Calif. She was 80.

She was born on Fix Ridge near Juliaetta, the daughter of Ira and Pearl Dygert Fix.

She lived in the Lewiston and Clarkston area during the 1950s when her husband, Elmer Atkinson, was the pastor of the United Brethren Church in Clarkston.

She is survived by three children, Larry Atkinson of Portland, Ore., Kathy Lisman of Chico, Calif., and Daryl Atkinson of Redding; and one sister, Macie York of Spokane.

Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lewiston. She will be buried next to her husband at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston.
