Ada-Services for Blanche Cheek, 80, Ravia, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ada First Indian Baptist Church, the Rev. Tom Bear and Gene Reeves conducting rites. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Cheek died March 17, 1990, at her home. She was born March 23, 1909, at Walville, Indian Territory, to P.A. and Annie Kingen Allen. She came to this area in 1927 from Ardmore. On April 22, 1929, she married Lonnie Paris Cheek in Ardmore. He died March of 1940. Survivors include two sons, A.M. Cheek, Eufaula, and Frank Cheek, Durant; three daughters, Anna Belle Watkins, Bristow, Betty Miller, and Linda McSwain, both of Ravia; four brothers, Pete Allen, P.H. Allen, Henry Allen, and Harold Allen, all of Ada; two sisters, Edna Burns, Ada, and Sylvia Simpson, Eloy, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Mike Cheek, Ronnie Miller, Thorton Cheek, Joe Watkins, Roy Cheek, and Donnie McSwain. Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
