A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1999, in River View Cemetery for Evelyn B. Miner, who died Aug. 24 at age 81.
Mrs. Miner was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Providence, R.I., and was raised in Portland. She graduated from Washington High School in 1936 and was a homemaker. She moved to California in the 1960s and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. In 1940, she married Gordon L.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Barbara Collins of Eldoret, Kenya, and Diane Wheatley of Liverpool, N.Y.; son, David B. of Fredericksburg, Va.; sisters, Grace M. Hill of Tualatin and Ruth Sconce of Milwaukie; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements are by River View Abbey Funeral Home.
