Minnie Placke, 88, of Superior died Thursday, March 16, 1989, in Omaha.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior with the Rev. Daniel Loeschen officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Valley Cemetery near Ayr.
Mrs. Placke, born Nov. 15, 1900, married Frank Placke Feb. 2, 1921. They farmed south of Hastings until moving to Superior in 1946 and buying Frank's Place. They also bought Superior Beverages in 1963. They retired in 1968 and he died Oct. 29, 1988.
She was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church.
Survivors are one sister, Lydia Forret of Clarion, Iowa; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Williams Funeral Home in Superior is in charge of arrangements.
