Martin Agena Died In His Car Tuesday On Sterling Street

Martin Agena of Adams died in his car on the street in Sterling Tuesday evening, August 4. Sheriff Wilbur Lintz and a doctor from Tecumseh were notified and immediately came to Sterling. The county attorney was away, so could not be here.
Mr. Agena had a heart history, which was well known to his friends in Sterling, and death was attributed to a heart attack. He had driven up at Woody's corner, started to open the car door, then closed it. A passerby walked over to speak to him, and Martin complained of a severe pain in the neck, but said he was alright. Death apparently occurred a few minutes later.
