Mrs. Dora Buma, 92, died in
Cherokee Wednesday at 2 a.m.
following a lingering illness.
Born June 9, 1874 in Heeg, Holland,
she was married to Andrew C. Buma on Aug. 31 1903.
The couple came from Massachusetts to Iowa in 1919.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 11, 1958.
Survivors are one son, Charles Buma of Cherokee; three daughters; Mrs. George (Gertrude) Hunstock of Early, Mrs. Ross (Grace) Hart of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Mrs. A.E. (Hazel) Stutz, Aurelia; three grandchildren and three great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Wharton Funeral Home. Rev. H.H. Proett will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Aurelia.
