Mrs. Mary Barker Walton, 55, of 3946 N. 900 West, Pleasant View, died yesterday morning at the Dee Hospital after a short illness. She was born She was born March 20, 1903, in Pleasant View, a daughter of LeRoy and Mary Ann Cragun Barker. She was married to Carl W. Chugg who died in 1935. On Dec. 23,, 1936, she married Charles H. Walton, who survives. She has been active In Primary, Relief Society and YWMIA of the Pleasant View Ward. Also she was a former captain of Camp Z, DUP. She is survived by her husband, her mother, and the following sons and daughters: Cecil and Melvin Chugg, Winchester, Ky.; Glenn Chugg and Dennis Walton, of Pleasant View; Orville Chugg, North Ogden; Mrs. Norman J. (Marian) Christensen, Ogden; Mrs. Jack (lona) Mendenhall, Vernon, B. C.; Mrs. Blair (Lila) Shaw, Liberty; 20 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Albert Barker, Salt Lake; Elbert Barker, Kansas; Wilford Barker, Ogden; Peary Barker, Pleasant View; Mrs. Clara Becker, and Mrs. Lillian Kunzler, both of Willard; Mrs. Grace and Mrs. Louise Thompson, both of Roy; Mrs. Violet-Coletti, Gulfport, Miss. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant View Ward chapel with Bishop Roland Anderson conducting. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the North Ogden Cemetery.
