Mrs. Mary Catherine Starlin, 73, wife of Charles H Starlin, 643 Eighth St. died at 1:20 pm Sunday of a heart attack at the residence of a sister Mrs. Ralph B Ater, 1717 Sixth St. city rescue squad was called but to no avail. A native and life-long resident of Portsmouth, she was born July 29, 1877 a daughter of Charles Martin and Anna Eckhart. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are the husband and sister. She was preceded in death by parents, brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wed at Emrick Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Sprunger officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
