Charles H Starlin
Charles H Starlin 82, a retired bookbinder, died at 7:40 this morning in Mercy Hospital. Death was attributed to complications. Mr. Starlin made his home with a brother-in-law and sister Mr. & Mrs. Ralph B Ater at 1717 Sixth St. Mr. Starlin was born in Portsmouth April 21, 1870 a son of Erasmus and Eliza Starlin both of whom preceded him in death. Mr. Starlin's wife Catherine also preceded him in death on Jan 7 1951. The former employee of the Kah-Patterson Printing Co, he retired during 1937. He and his wife had no children, but a brother Raymond survives in Detroit. Four other brothers and three sisters preceded Mr. Starlin in death. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of America. Funeral will be conducted at 2:30 pm Sat at Emrick Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Cruickshank officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
