Fletcher (Staff) -- Services for James Dudley Hutson, 35, will be at 2:30 pm [on] Thursday [06 Apr 1967] in the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] First Baptist Church.

Mr. Hutson died [on] Saturday morning [02 Apr 1967] in Seattle, Wash[ington] after a brief illness.

Rev Roy Moody Jr, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Dalton Funeral Home, here.

Mr. Hutson was born [on] May 9, 1931 in Lawton[, Oklahoma]. He joined the Navy in December of 1950 and served until December of 1965, when he received a medical discharge at Seattle, Wash[ington]. He served on the USS Perkins during the Korean War and the USS Canberra during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two sons: James Dudley Hutson Jr and Roger Dale Hutson, both of Stacey, Calif[ornia]; a step-daughter: Kathy Diane Hutson [of] Stacey, Calif[ornia]; his mother: Mrs. Margaret Hutson of Fletcher[, Oklahoma]; six sisters: Mrs. Georgia Etter and Mrs. Mary King, both of Enid[, Oklahoma], Mrs. Jo Ann Duke [of] Fort Sumner, N[ew] M[exico], Mrs. Marie Crow [of] Myrtle, Tex[as], Mrs. Barbara Taber of Seattle, Wash[ington], and Mrs. Frances Thompson of Oakboro, N[orth] C[arolina]; two brothers: Estell Leroy Hutson with the U. S. Navy stationed at Yorktown, V[irgini]a, and Billy Ray [Hutson] with the U. S. Air Force stationed at San Antonio, Tex[as].
