Mrs. Clarence Brown Of Effingham Dies
Mrs. Edith Bonnell Brown, 46, wife of Charles Brown died unexpectedly at 10 o'clock this morning at her home in Effingham. Death came following a heart attack.
Mrs. Brown was born at Monrovia, April 15, 1887, and was married to Mr. Brown on September 1, 1909.
She is survived by her husband: three daughters, Mrs. Virginia McCue, Atchison, and Misses Kathleen and Hazel Brown, both of the home: her mother Mrs. Ben Bonnell, Monrovia; one brother, Claude Bonnell, Valley Falls; six sisters, Miss Nellie Bonnell and Mrs. Leah Glaspie, Monrovia; Mrs. Grace Woodard, Effingham; Mrs. Ruth Andrews, Leavenworth; Mrs. Catherine Schneider, Kansas City, and Mrs. Melinda Calvert, Atchison and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Methodist church.
