James P. Klinger "Jim", 42 of Minersville, PA took his life on Tuesday September 11, 2007 at his residence. Born in Ashland, PA, March 3, 1965, the son of the late Gurney and Maryanne (Hornberger) Klinger.

He was a member of the Devine Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Carmel, PA. He was employed as a Bakery Specialist. He enjoyed traveling, camping and the beach.

He is survived by his longtime companion of 17 years Joseph D. Stephens, two sisters, Jane Herb, Ashland, PA; Barbara Klinger, Atlas, PA; niece Patti Klinger; great niece Kirianna Klinger, Mt Carmel PA; nephew, Joshua Klinger, Atlas, PA. And his special friend Charlie the Bull Dog. Charlie "A SPECIAL DOG" Klinger/Morrissey. Find a Grave Memorial # 134673613.

Jim was a dedicated caretaker/caregiver for his Great Ciocia Ann in her last years; allowing her to remain in her home until her death June 13, 2007.

Religious services officiated by Monsignor Michael Federowich at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, September 14, 2007.

Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on March 9, 2008 at the Caron Treatment Center Chapel by Father William Hultberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to honor the memory of Jim can be made to: The Trevor Project, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.
