Born Nov. 23, 1966, in the former Ashland State Hospital, Fountain Springs, she was a daughter of the late Gurney and Maryann Hornberger Klinger.
She attended the North Schuylkill High School and had been employed as a baker for Boyer's Food Markets Inc. until her retirement.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, crafting and country music, especially Johnny Cash and Alan Jackson.
Preceding her in death was a brother, James Klinger.
Survivors include daughter, Patti Klinger and her companion, Jesse Burt, Mount Carmel; son, Joshua Klinger, Kulpmont; sister, Jane, wife of Fred Herb, Locustdale; and grandchildren, Kirianna and Rylan Burt.
