Priscilla was the daughter of William and Mary Ann Penton. She was the wife of Rowland Brotherhood, Sr., railroad engineer for the Great Western Railway. They married in 1835 and had children.

Their eldest son, Rowland Jr. (b. 18 November 1841) played Cricket for Gloucestershire. He married Julia Fanny Cambridge and they had 8 children.
