Irma was a lifetime resident of Brighton and a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church. She spent most of her life as a homemaker raising four children and they were her life. She loved cooking and catering to her children and grandchildren. Irma worked for a time at the Ben Franklin store in Brighton. She also was the social editor for the local Brighton paper for several years.
Irma was preceded by her husband Albert, sister Annette Waiss and brother Edwin Westermann. Memorial Service held on December 18 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home,Brighton.
